Christ For India has its International Headquarters at Lake Forest, South Orange County in Southern California, USA.

The National Headquarters is located at the City of Chennai, Tamilnadu in South India. It is an international and interdenominational ministry with the main objective of reaching India's millions with the gospel of Christ. It is helping to promote the social, educational, and economical conditions of the people.

Like a smoldering volcano, teeming india continues its threat to erupt with a fury that may well rock the world. A rapidly changing economic and social order has disrupted the lives of the 1 billion Indian men and women and left them perplexed. The rising tide of nationalism seeks to unite the various language groups. There are 18 major languages spoken in India. All this creates tensions which are breaking into open violence in certain areas of the country. Multiply that with the threat of nuclear war with Pakistan, and you have an extremely volatile and major disaster in the making.

The rapid growth of literacy and television is producing millions of eager minds who want to grasp everything that is going on in the world today. False cults are flooding the land with faith, destroying teachings. Extreme hindu groups are persecuting Christians at alarming numbers.

Christ for India and its national workers are carrying the glad tidings of great joy of salvation which shall be to ALL PEOPLE - carrying it in such a form and language that is easily and eagerly read, taught, and understood in the villages and mega cities as well.

Christ is the answer to India's problems. All this will be made possible by God's people like you who have been commissioned : "Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature" It is this definite command of our Lord which is putting Dr. Fernando and his co-workers out to the hot roads so often in the scorching temperature of India, and he needs the financial and prayer backing of all of us.
