Christ For India Church Planting

As we began to reach out to the poor and needy ones by way of "Ministries of Compassion" the Lord led us to go into the villages and set up churches, thus

providing a place of worship for the believers and new born babes in Christ who are scattered in and around these villages and who have no place to worship. The Lord is blessing this humble village outreach ministry among these people who are so thirsty for the Word of God and to know the truth!

As rightly and wells aid by Dr. Oswald J. Smith, "How can we hear the Gospel twice when millions have not heard the Gospel even once?". The Lord led us to preach the Gospel to thousands and thousands of people who never heard the Name of Jesus even once in their lives and also to pray for the healing of the sick and suffering in and through our Mass Evangelistic Crusades and Seminars throughout the length and breadth of India. These Crusades and Seminars are always conducted with the full cooperation of the local churches and pastors and the Lord has used his anointed servant Rev. Manuel Fernando in a wonderful way to take the message to all His people around the world thus building bridges between countries like India, America, Europe, Denmark, New Zealand, Australia and many more. A Team of believers sometimes join Rev. Fernando and the CHRIST FOR THE WORLD AMBASSADORS Team and visit these countries whenever they are led to do so. This Team consists of Pastors, Music Ministers, Gospel Singers and some lay men and women. Seminars are also conducted along side for the local Pastors, Evangelists and other Christian lay leaders while Rev. Fernando is there.

Sometimes Western Missionaries find it difficult to get into India today due to political reasons and situations, but these Indian Christian Preachers who have a deep sense of God's calling on their lives to preach the Gospel to their own people are eagerly waiting to go forward and out into the mission field to do the job. Knowing the language and the customs of the country, they are easily able to reach out to the ordinary man with the Good News in their own way, something which may be hard for a foreigner to do.

It is exciting to be partners with them through the ministry of Christ For India. We cannot, of course, do this without you, your prayers and your financial help and encouragement to go forward on your behalf and spread the Gospel.
